can serve as a therapeutic treatment in many situations. Therapeutic
yoga does not merely treat the symptoms but focuses on the
root cause of various conditions and is increasing in popularity
as other health-care practitioners (including doctors, chiropractors,
physical therapists, etc.) recognize the healing powers of
yoga.
In a session/program for Therapeutic Yoga for Adults, personal
attention and individualized sequences of postures are created
and provided to address and assist the healing of specific
issues, physical limitations, conditions and injury recovery.
A range of issues including but not limited to: general upper
and lower back pain, sciatica pain; carpal tunnel; sacroiliac
joint pain, arthritis of the knee and shoulder, slopped discs,
scoliosis, women’s health issues, asthma, stress, headache/migraine,
anxiety, depression, insomnia, immunodeficiency, high-blood
pressure, etc.

In over seventy years of dedicated practice and teaching,
Mr. Iyengar developed ways of applying yoga practise to various
ailments, diseases and disorders. At the Ramamani Iyengar
Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India, daily two hour Medical
Classes run fun five days a week providing specific programs
of Iyengar Yoga associated to various conditions. YogaBuds™
director, Temmi Ungerman Sears, has been greatly influenced
by both observations of and participation (Assisting) in these
Medical Classes.
Private Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes and are held at the
YogaBuds™ Iyengar Yoga Studio where the environment is inviting
