YogaBuds offers unique workshops and training sessions for yoga teachers, yoga therapists and wellness/healthcare professionals. Sessions are taught by Temmi, a certified yoga therapist with IAYT, who grounds each course in decades of experience in the fields of yoga therapy and the creative healing arts.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This course will empower you with the skills, techniques and tools to successfully guide your clients to access their internal locus of control in order to experience pratyahara, a state of inner stillness, and improve self-regulation. Over the course of three days, participants will practice the unique YogaBuds approach and experience first-hand the many benefits it can bring.
The teachings of this course will focus on an exploration of four key therapeutic themes for coping with anxiety. We will explore these exciting topics through a series of lectures, demonstrations, discussions, creative activities and yoga practices. You will be able to immediately implement this approach in your life both professionally and personally, bring about positive change, and help others to manage anxiety, especially during such challenging times.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE
This course is for yoga teachers, mental health professionals and other health care providers who wish to support clients coping with symptoms of anxiety by using a unique yoga therapy approach which blends asana, pranayama, mindfulness and creativity.
This 16-hour online training program will provide you with an understanding of the YogaBuds Trifocal Lens, a unique method for using with clients in their healing journey. Participants can expect to explore a combination of foundational concepts and integrative techniques using the timeless traditions of yoga, mindfulness and creativity.
The entire 16-hour course is registered as an ongoing education program with the International Association of Yoga Therapist (IAYT). It is IAYT approved as an APD-designated course. Participants will receive an IAYT Certificate of Completion. It is the students’ responsibility to request a certificate of completion and submit all required information on the IAYT website.
This training has been designated by the International Association of Yoga Therapists as an Approved Professional Development course. IAYT has rigorous standards for Yoga Therapists and for accredited training programs. Only people with the C-IAYT designation have completed the education and training that qualifies for these standards.

If you do not have all of the yoga props, please feel free to use simple household items to create them such as binding together hard cover books, using a scarf, or a regular belt, etc.
If you do not have art supplies available, please ensure you have paper and something you can create imagery with.

Yoga, mindfulness and creativity have always been foundational to my personal and professional lives. For almost 40 years I have developed my skills as a certified yoga therapist and certified Iyengar yoga teacher, psychotherapist, expressive therapist and artist, working with thousands of students and clients of all ages. My creative spirit inspires everything I do and I am thrilled to be able to share my lifelong passions and healing approaches with other yoga therapists, yoga teachers and mental health professionals in my new course.
