YOGA CLASSES & SESSIONS
You'll find our methodology to be respectful, supportive and directed at restoring your balance, health and wellbeing. Classes are kept small so that each student receives individual instruction and individual adjustments. Since 1994, we have fostered a warm and close-knit community of yogis attuned to each others’ needs. We are never dogmatic and always committed to innovation and creativity in teaching.
We ask that our students make a weekly commitment to their practice for a full session, as our systematic and progressive method introduces the practices of asana or postures and pranayama gradually. This ensures that awareness, consciousness and understanding is deepened and that postures are done properly, guarding against the unsafe practice of yoga. Since classes are taught as part of a session, the fee is determined by the number of weeks in each session.
Mondays, 9:30 - 11:00 am; Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
This class is designed to focus on the fundamental postures of yoga, ensuring that you have the tools you need to maintain a safe and supportive practice. Elemental classes use a systematic and progressive method to introduce postures gradually, ensuring that the foundation of your practice is built on proper body alignment and sequencing while developing stability, strength, mobility and flexibility.
This gentle, therapeutic style of yoga uses props (rope wall, bolsters, blankets, chairs, benches, pillows, blocks and belts) to create completely supported resting poses and exact alignment. There is a prolonged holding of simple poses with deep and quiet breathing. Working with breath and visualization, you quiet the brain, move inward and reach a state of equanimity.

Under the knowing hands of a specially trained professional, yoga therapy can serve as a key therapeutic treatment for many health concerns. We customize YogaBuds Private sessions to your unique needs, based on one-on-one consultation and taught on a one-on-one basis.
Mondays, 6:15 - 8:15 pm
If you’re a regular yogi looking to deepen your practice, this class is right for you! A more challenging environment, our mixed/advanced class is for students with a steady practice looking to dive into more advanced variations. Poses are held for a longer time, further refinements are given and additional postures including a range of inversions, backbends, deep forward extensions, arm balancings and pranayama practises are taught.
Wednesdays, 1:00 - 2:30 pm
Experience a deep release of stress and a profound calming of the nervous system and mind. This gentle, therapeutic style of yoga uses props (rope wall, bolsters, blankets, chairs, benches, pillows, blocks and belts) to create completely supported resting poses and exact alignment. There is a prolonged holding of simple poses with deep and quiet breathing. Working with breath and visualization, you quiet the brain, move inward and reach a state of equanimity. Restorative yoga is healing and rejuvenating while also beneficial in boosting immune function and decreasing stress and anxiety.
Tuesdays, 7:00 - 7:45 pm
In this unique class, mother and daughter will increase their individual sense of self while connecting with one another in non-verbal and meaningful ways. This class is designed to create a positive and supportive environment where you and your loved one can bond through the practice of yoga. Increased self-confidence, positive physical and mental health benefits, including postural awareness and learning how to deal with stress and anxiety will be enhanced through the shared practise. Participants will leave class feeling calm, peaceful and connected.
Saturdays, 9:30 - 11:00 am
Yoga is the perfect antidote for our hyper-busy, high-stress world. Available for families of any size and all ages are welcome. Each themed practice comprises rituals, cooperative games and stories, partner work and dynamic postures, together with guided visualization and relaxation. As with every YogaBuds class, you will receive guidance in body and breath awareness, postural alignment and stress-reduction techniques. Adults and children alike derive the many physical and spiritual benefits of yoga and experience an authentic and meaningful connection.
KIDS & TEENS
Kids: Mondays, 4:30 - 5:15 pm; Teens: Tuesdays, 5:00 - 5:45 pm
At YogaBuds, all children and teens are welcome regardless of size, ability or specific needs. Inclusion, safety, kindness and respect are of utmost importance. We focus on posture, mindfulness and creativity to enhance concentration and encourage introspection for greater self-awareness, self-regulation, self-esteem and confidence. Yoga and Mindfulness have been shown to greatly help children and teens learn to cope with anxiety and stress.
