WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?
Under the knowing hands of a specially trained professional, yoga therapy can serve as a key therapeutic treatment for many health concerns. A growing number of healthcare practitioners recognize yoga’s healing potential and recommend its gentle powers of rehabilitation, recovery and relaxation.
If you’re coping with illness, injuries, various physical or mental health issues and conditions, or recovering from surgery, one-on-one yoga therapy sessions could be the solution for you. Private yoga therapy sessions are tailored to meet you wherever you are at to progress toward improved health and wellbeing. Yoga Therapy empowers you to connect to your own innate healing potential.
ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSE OF YOUR PAIN.
At YogaBuds, we will develop your individualized yoga practice which may include some of the following tools: a customized sequence of postures or asanas, counselling, breath work or visualizations and relaxation, and mindful meditation. The specific use of these tools by a trained yoga therapist can help to support regulation and
resilience in the mind-body system.
We use modified poses — often supported with props — which are appropriate for individual needs and capabilities and safely enable students to access their body with greater awareness and to experience healing. Students also receive individual home practices, which they’re encouraged to follow between sessions.
We customize YogaBuds Private sessions to your unique needs and capabilities based on one-on-one consultation
and taught on a one-on-one basis. This enables us to develop a deeper understanding of who you are and to determine a personalized and relevant practice regimen that is safe and supportive, and aligns with your personal goals and needs.
